I. Product Introduction
This machine is mainly used for static torsional stiffness and static torsional strength performance tests of automotive drive axle assemblies. It is equipment for detecting the torque-bearing capacity of drive axle assemblies under static conditions, complying with the "Automotive Drive Axle Bench Test Method" (QC/T533-1999). II. Structural Features of the Static Torsion Testing Machine
The static torsion testing machine typically consists of a loading system, measurement system, control system, and safety protection devices. The loading system is responsible for applying torque, the measurement system is used to monitor torque values and deformation, the control system manages the automated control of the entire testing process, and the safety protection devices ensure the safety of personnel and equipment during testing.

IV. About the Test
Test Purpose:
To inspect the weakest component in the drive axle assembly against torsion and calculate the static torsional strength reserve coefficient of the assembly.
Test Procedure
1. Securely fix the assembled drive axle assembly's axle housing on the support. Connect the input end of the drive axle assembly (i.e., the drive gear end of the reducer) to the torque output end. Fix the output end of the drive axle (i.e., the half-shaft output end or wheel hub) on the support.
2. Adjust the torque machine's arm so that it swings horizontally during the test and calibrate the instrument.
3. Start the torque machine and apply load slowly. Record the curve via an XY recorder until any component fractures under torsion, and record the torque and torsion angle at fracture.
3. Data Processing
3.1 Calculate the static torsional strength, taking the arithmetic mean of the fracture torque of three samples.
3.2 Calculate the static torsional strength reserve coefficient according to the formula specified in the standard.
